- DON’T deviate from pre-approved siding materials and colors. Living in an HOA community doesn’t give you much in the way of design choices. Pre-approved siding colors and materials are varied enough, sure, but they’re not particularly extensive. Stay on the safe side by sticking with classic neutral colors.
